Frozen chicken is classified under HS heading 0207. Whole frozen chickens are HS 0207.12, and frozen chicken cuts and offal, including breast, wings, leg quarters, drumsticks, paws, livers and gizzards, are HS 0207.14. Cooked, breaded or otherwise prepared chicken, such as nuggets and fried chicken, is HS 1602.32.
This guide is for importers, distributors and customs brokers who need the right code for a frozen chicken shipment. It covers the international 6-digit codes, how one national tariff splits them further, and the codes for duck, offal and ready-to-eat products.

| Whole chicken, frozen | 0207.12 |
|---|---|
| Chicken breast and butterfly breast, frozen | 0207.14 |
| Chicken wings, frozen | 0207.14 |
| Leg quarters, drumsticks and thigh meat, frozen | 0207.14 |
| Chicken paws and feet, frozen | 0207.14 |
| Chicken livers, gizzards and hearts, frozen | 0207.14 |
| Chicken frames, backs and necks, frozen | 0207.14 |
| Chicken mince, frozen | 0207.14 |
| Nuggets, strips, fried chicken and other prepared chicken | 1602.32 |
The 6-digit codes come from the Harmonized System maintained by the World Customs Organization. Fresh or chilled chicken uses different codes: 0207.11 for whole birds and 0207.13 for cuts and offal.
The first 6 digits of an HS code are international and identical in every country that uses the Harmonized System. Each country then adds its own digits, usually reaching 8 or 10, to set duty rates, quotas and statistics. So 0207.14 is correct in Almaty, Dubai and Accra, but the full code on your import declaration comes from your own country's tariff.

The European Union's tariff is a clear example of how a country breaks 0207.14 down by cut. These are the official subheadings from the EU TARIC nomenclature:
| 0207 14 10 | Boneless cuts |
|---|---|
| 0207 14 20 | Halves or quarters |
| 0207 14 30 | Whole wings, with or without tips |
| 0207 14 40 | Backs, necks, backs with necks attached, rumps and wing-tips |
| 0207 14 50 | Breasts and cuts thereof |
| 0207 14 60 | Legs and cuts thereof |
| 0207 14 70 | Other bone-in cuts |
| 0207 14 91 | Livers |
| 0207 14 99 | Other offal |

| Whole duck, frozen | 0207.42 |
|---|---|
| Duck breast, legs, wings, feet and gizzards, frozen | 0207.45 |
| Beef liver, frozen | 0206.22 |
| Sheep liver, frozen | 0206.90 |
| Sheep tail fat (kurdyuk), unrendered | 1502.90 |
| Chicken nuggets, popcorn chicken, fried chicken | 1602.32 |
